Five answers worth reading first

Is there a formal interview?

No panel and no assessment. HR reads your form, sends the brief and asks about availability in writing. If the employer wants a short call before confirming the roster, they arrange that with you themselves.

Can I do this alongside studies or another job?

That is what most people here are doing. Because you nominate the blocks, the usual pattern is a couple of evenings or one weekend day fitted around a schedule that is already full.

What happens if I get something wrong early on?

Your first fortnight of work is reviewed before it goes anywhere. Mistakes at that stage are expected, get corrected quietly, and are not held against you afterwards.

Will patchy internet out here be a problem?

The work needs a connection that holds for the length of a block. Most homes around Bairnsdale and the Lakes manage that fine; if yours drops out often, mention it to HR so they can suggest the least demanding listing.

How is the rate confirmed?

The employer confirms it in writing before your first block and it matches the range shown in the listing. Nothing is deducted at our end because we are not part of the payment at all.
